NRIO’s standard pier supports most mountings in size up to a CEM-120. Higher capacity piers for mounting are available for the larger AP, SB, 10Micron, PW L mounts. Internet and Safety Telemetry are provided. All Observatories have backup power. Customers are encouraged to include a small UPS with their telescope to keep powered during the brief period as backup power facilities come online in the event of power failure. Five (5 ) 16 x 16 foot roll off roof Observatories are under construction. These ROR’s have isolated concrete floors, with 5’ walls for maximum protection from wind during telescope operation. A large capacity 24 x 50 foot roll off Observatory is scheduled for groundbreaking Spring 2026.
A Technical Innovations 10’ Pro Dome is under lease to a corporate customer and is currently unavailable. NRIO has the infrastructure in place to host customer domes in need of relocation. Infrastructure is in place for private or club observatory hosting. Please contact Tim at (573) 569-3376 for more information.
NRIO offers a 5 year price structure guarantee to allow for a change in customer mounting or OTA size and space requirements.
Pricing for your remote telescope(s) is based on the swing radius that your telescope requires for safe operation.
For telescopes that require a larger working area, please call
